Worth knowing before you go
- Closed / restricted: The wheel closes during thunderstorms, which are frequent in Singapore; staff typically offer rebooking or refunds when this happens.
- Book ahead: Flex tickets are the safer choice given weather closures; checking the live status before you set off keeps the day on track.
- Crowds: Weekends and special events can bring 30–60-minute waits even when the venue looks quiet, with capsules sometimes passing by unfilled.
- Best time: Boarding around 7:00–7:30pm catches the dusk-to-night transition and the Gardens by the Bay light show from above.
- On foot: The route from the entrance through the Time Capsule exhibit to the boarding point is a moderate walk; wheelchair access is available and well supported.
